Barbie is in the Queen City — and she brought her DreamHouse with her!

Now open at the Cincinnati Museum Center, Barbie: A Cultural Icon invites visitors on a nostalgic and fashion-forward journey through 66 years of the world’s most famous doll. The exhibit features more than 300 artifacts from Barbie’s storied past, showcasing her evolution from a 1959 fashion doll to a global pop culture icon.

Organized chronologically, the exhibit examines the doll’s transformation over the decades. The display mirrors changing fashion trends, social movements, and the expanding possibilities for women and girls. Visitors can view rare items straight from Mattel’s archives and the private collection of David Porcello, including an original Barbie DreamHouse.

And yes, there are plenty of photo ops for kids, collectors, and anyone ready to live their Barbiecore dream!

The exhibit is produced by Illusion Projects Inc. in collaboration with Mattel and will run through September 1st.

Tickets start at $19.50 for non-member adults and $15.50 for non-member children. Guests can also upgrade to the Barbie Dream Package, which includes premium same-day anytime entry, reentry, a pair of Barbie sunglasses, and a Malibu keychain. Package prices begin at $48.50 for adults and $44.50 for children.

Visit Cincinnati Museum Center’s website to grab your tickets before Barbie drives her convertible off to her next adventure.
